Dropped samsung a5 in a

Dropped my samsund a5 in water its working and i can turn it on anf but its not going on standby which is causing it ti get red hot

Back when all phones had removable back covers you would simply disassamble the phone and let it rest for a while.
But now it's a different times...

Did you try to soft reset?
I would try the hard reset too if soft doesn't work...
