Dropping your Droid for the Nexus One?

I defiently wanna play with it... I'm going to convince my gf to get it on t-mo when shes able to upgrade. It'll be her backup phone because I know she isnt letting go of her iphone anytime soon...

I'm settling in nicely with my Droid after a few months. It keeps getting better every day. Chasing technology requires more cash flow than I am allowed to spend.

In going to watch it but if development on the Droid slows down I'm out as soon as it's released on Verizon. Then again if the Droid just continues to get better it may make it hard

Nope, don't feel the need to. Droid will be getting everything the N1 will so there is no need to. I'm not a fan of the design of the N1, it just doesn't do anything for me. I love the look of my droid, with a passion I cannot describe, and I love using the keyboard. The N1, although thin, looks like every other smartphone out there. That's a "no bueno" for me to be honest.

Sure it has a substantially faster CPU, but you've read the reviews, no one has noticed a huge difference from the Droid. I guarantee you any performance boost they are seeing is strictly software related.

That's just my 2 cents.

Would not drop this phone for the Nexus...I am hooked on the DROID !! However, if the iPhone comes to Verizon I may resonsider.
