Hey guys, absolute noob to ROM hacking etc here, but I'm kind of in a pickle. I've got a HTC One (only decent trade Phones4U were offering me for my faulty 920) and while I love Android, I have a need to have access to WP8 too. I'm just wondering if there was any way in which I could get WP8 dual-booted onto my Android phone. Buying a new device is out of the question unfortunately, as is changing my device. So the only way this could work is via dual-booting. Is this at all possible?

No its impossible to run a Windows phone rom on the HTC One. Would like to have that possibility too.

Nope. A ROM like this is unheard of at the moment...

So with the latest rumours splurging that WP will be portable to Android phones, do we have any updates on this? Since I'm still interested in getting WP8.1 onto this device as it will just flow better with my heavy use of Microsoft services (plus how cool would it be for people to ask "hey isn't that the HTC One, how did you get that interface!?".

Yes I understand I'm necroposting but since the question remains unanswered why not bring it back? (Mods feel free to shut it down if I've made a bad call here despite my mod experience over at WPC)

Still don't think it's possible and I haven't heard of anything like it being developed. There's an Android phone with Microsoft services, but that's about it...

Perhaps the rumour never came to fruition then. It's an annoying setback given my situation but guess I just gotta get used to it :(
