Can anyone confirm that the galaxy S8 has a dual camera mode that you can download from the Samsung galaxy App Store? It takes a picture from the front and back camera at the same time.
Thanks!

When you go to the camera app and you swipe right to access the photo more, you'll see a + sign right besides the 3 dots menu settings that will take you to the Galaxy apps store directly to the additional modes you can download and there you'll find the Dual Camera mode.

Yep, it does. You can see it action in my tips post here: https://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=803886

That said something has changed in saving pictures. The pictures no longer have the dual view like picture in picture. It's weird that I still get that in my Note 5 but not in S8.
Actually it does save the two images as one if you change from the flip mode to one of the other modes. Click on the double camera icon when in dual camera mode and you'll see the other window styles to choose from. Those let you resize the window and it saves as one image instead of the default two in flip mode.

It does for videos but I can't see the Dual View button as I see for videos in pictures.

Can you post a screenshot if possible?

That is before you take the shot, right? I was looking in a photo where it did not take dual views as picture in picture but flip to view the other image for some reason. Thanks.
The one on the side is the actual photo I took. The second photo is a screenshot of the settings after clicking on the double camera icon.

Ok, how do I move where the selfie part of the picture in picture is placed?

Make sure you choose something other than "Flip" or "Split" as those ones don't seem seem to be able to be resized or moved. For all the others, just press and hold and you can drag it around or resize the window. It would help if you turn off the tap to take photo feature as well.

I just found that out today. PITA really. Why is the Flip the default !!!!

Thank you for pointing out how this works. It was truly annoying to me to not have this mode working after I used it often on my old S4
