Dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon Processors

Hey every one,

I find it very interesting that cell phones will have dual core snapdragon processors with in the next year.

I find that insane! VERY cool.

What are your thought on this?

Well, right now I can't imagine what we could use all that power for in a phone. I mean, you can make apps that happily crunch away at all that processing power, but what would they do? Current single core Snapdragon processors can handle an Android phone just fine, I mean we have (will soon have) HDMI video output with it... You know what I could imagine those dual core beasties in? Tablets. Sweet, sweet Android tablets. And maybe netbooks. But I'm sure handset manufacturers and developers will come up with some ideas on how they can get us to want to buy those phones.
