Hi guys, first post on the forum!

I got the S7 for my birthday, first flagship I have bought! Loving it so far - I use both the sim slots for my 2 numbers so cannot use micro sd unfortunately.

Wanted to check a couple of things with the others wielding 2 numbers

1.) Battery Life
What has been your experience with battery life? I have heard so many raving reviews about the battery life being great on the S7. I think the battery life is good, but I do not find it exceptional tbh. I love the fast charging, and I am not too worried since I know I just need a few minutes of charging to get going, but I was expecting the phone to have a better battery life that it does.

I get about a day's use out of it - I charge every single morning by which time its really low (~10% or lower). I don't really stream any videos or music - My usage is mainly calls, browsing the web, facebook, news apps, and whats app. I figured the battery drain is obviously a bit higher due to 2 sims running. (I also have bluetooth on all the time as I wear a Fitbit).

What have your experiences been like? Has anybody gone from using 1 sim to 2 sims and found a major difference? Please share your thoughts!

2.) Incoming Call Alert
You can customize the ringtone for different sims - however my phone is generally on silent, so I never come to know which number is receiving the call till I finish the call and check the logs. Is there any way I can make the screen display which sim is receiving the call? This is actually a bit surprising, as I would have thought this is a basic display feature for a phone with 2 sims!

1. Depends on what you are expecting. Were you on a smartphone before? Depending on several factors, battery life is very much usage dependent. Normal real life usage for most people, once or twice a day charging is the norm.

2. I don't know about this, as it doesn't really seem it would matter what SIM is receiving the call. I don't know in your case though, why it even would matter.

Yup, I've been on smartphones for a while now. Generally when your phone is new, it gives you some really good battery life and then it settles in to your usual 1 day cycle etc. I was expecting the battery to last a lot longer mainly because all the reviews and feedback was talking about how great the battery life is...It's not bad, but it's about as good as my previous phone (LG G3)

As for the second point, well, the second sim is my work number, so If I receive a call from an unsaved number, it helps to tell if its work or personal.

1. Battery life should be longer, but the battery shouldn't be showing real capacity until a few days of usage, and with Doze not yet kicking in. I'm getting up to 6hrs longer than on my previous Note 2.

2. We'll just wait for someone who knows, but personally I haven't seen an option on this.

Hi everyone,

Yes it really matters to know wether it's a business call or a family call !

With my Wiko Ufeel i can see which one of the two sims is called, and I can have a different ringtone for each one. BUT

And that's a big BUT : when I'm in an area where one of the two sims doesn't work, every call is switched to the sim that works. And it has already gotten me into serious trouble. :-

So if anyone knows how to overcome that, please tell me the trick !
