Dualboot games wallpapers

Hello,
I’ve come here in hopes of finding an answer.
In 2014/15, I had all the dual boot games live wallpapers. I loved them. Well for Christmas of 15 my son got me an iPhone.
I soon found out I could not get these with the iPhone.
Soooooo, at last I couldn’t take it anymore.
I bought a s24, and guess what? I still can’t get them! And now I have a phone I don’t know to do with.
Can anyone tell me if the galaxy note 5 will work? The tab 6? Other devices? I didn’t include no name items as I ended up with an iPhone due to non working androids.
I’ve asked everyone. I’ve tried contacting dual boot games on several addresses I’ve found, but no reply.
I know there’s another thread about this, but I saw no help as far as how to get a device that will work.
So, I’m asking for help. Im sure there’s someone out here that remembers these wonderful wallpapers? It doesn’t have to be a note 5 or tab 6. I’m just guessing at these.

Thank you in advance.

Right, but my point was that live wallpapers are more than just a single wallpaper image -- they're more likely to be affected by the 32 bit restriction. If it were just a static wallpaper, it would be easier to transfer the image to a newer device. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your intent.

A Note5 should work. The tricky thing about the Tab A is that there have been so many models with the name "Tab A" over the years that it can be confusing to figure out when a particular model was released, and what Android OS version it's on.
Welcome to Android Central! It looks like that developer folded a while ago. You can look for APKs of their live wallpapers, but always be cautious when installing APKs from random sites, since there's a higher risk of malware. And keep in mind that even if you do find the APKs, there's a good chance they won't work, since they're most likely 32 bit apps (and current Android devices like the S24 only support 64 bit apps).

Yes I found this out after I bought an s24.

You could try installing the old apk on an older device, but you still won't be able to transfer that to the newer device.

Of course, I figured that. All I want are the wallpapers. The phone or tablet can just sit on my nite table for that one reason. I don’t want to use it.
Oh apk has an older version? Of course it does!!!
I’m still not sure if a note 5 is the right one to get? It a tab A? They were around at the right time

Just for reference, I have a Tab s6 running Android 12, One UI version 4.1.1. Dualboot Live Wallpapers work fine on it. That is the last device firmware I have in which they work.

I just saw the other Android Central thread from 2023 regarding Dualboot Live Wallpaper & I saw I posted there. So I really do not have additional info than what I posted then. The wallpapers are still working on my Tab s6 with the above-mentioned software. (But no guarantees...)

Hello and thank you.
I do not want a device except to run these wallpapers, on my nite table. Yes, I guess it’s stupid. My only interest is to locate a device that will be new enough to download, yet a 32bit for these wallpapers.
It’s too bad dualboot games didn’t upgrade these. If anyone has had them, they’re truly one of a kind. When I had them on the old android in 15, I had different sound boards as well, and added several sounds to the haunted house HD. I also added sounds to the forest HD, several sounds . On the one, think it’s valentines or maybe my date HD? You can add music, tiny bubbles etc.
I had a lot of fun with these apps. But, it’s a personal thing, and a lot don’t care about all that. Not only do they go by the time of day, what they do changes too, between day and night. I made my sounds to work with that too. Of course I also had an app with a “live” chihuahua and you could make it do all kinds of things. My phone ring tone was a chihuahua barking.
I figure I’ve earned trying to get these apps back, as stupid as it seems to be.
I’m retired now, and only help out a friend who’s ill. I have 3 wonderful doggies, no husband, and no longer work 80 hours a week hospice. I’ve paid my dues.
I just want to find a device to run these apps. A tablet will work. It’s confusing as there are tons of the A’s. There’s a list of tablets and phones, but it’s still confusing.
I’ve looked on eBay, marketplace, Amazon.
The cheap ones are so old. Can they go on WiFi and download? I’ve never used an android tablet.
I am just trying to find a device, hopefully a tablet that will run these. I’m not trying to transfer. I already know the s24 won’t run these. I’m no tech person that’s for sure.
If anyone out here is a tech person, or even semi tech that might know an acceptable device? Could you let me know?
I am grateful for all the replies! Everyone has been great!! I can’t go to the one person who could help me, my son, as saying the word, android or live wallpaper causes the beginning of WW3.
Oh, btw, at one point I heard windows 10 could run these, but you had to have some other app or program? Something to do it.
I have a laptop with w 10, sits and is unused.
Any info would help.
Thank you again!!!!!

BerryBubbles mentioned above that the Tab S6 on Android 12 was able to run Dualboot live wallpapers, so that's a good starting point.

I also should modify what I said earlier, after reading more about this. 32 bit apps are being phased out, but there are still a lot of devices that can still run them, including relatively new ones (apparently including every Galaxy Tab: ). But the Play Store only has 64 bit apps now, and very recent devices (like the S24 and Pixel 7 onward) no longer support 32 bit apps: https://docs.samsungknox.com/dev/kn...h the release of,and all future Galaxy series. Since the Play Store no longer has 32 bit apps like the Dualboot live wallpapers, you'd have to install them from an APK site as already discussed.
