[DUMB] Is It Possible to Move Google Play Store to sdcard?

Hi,

I'm a total newb to cell phones, I just rooted my device yesterday. I was wondering if it is possible to move Google Play Store to the sdcard. Hope it's not too stupid a question.

You may still be able to do it with titanium backup( in play store) just find it on the list hold till menu pops up and select move to SD card, but you may have to change owner of Google play to user. O yeah and grant titanium backup su privileges

Okay thanks. I've been using Link2SD for doing my app moving/bloatware removing. I will check out Titanium backup.

I should be able to do this by hand from the shell or though adb too, correct?

It's not worth the trouble it will give you. Market and tibu are ones that I never move... lessons learned the hard way.

You do have to be careful what you move to SD card, I played around with moving stuff. And definitely have had to extract files from roms and restore a couple times.... just do some research first, even if you know how yo fix your mess ups:thumbup:
