Duplicate texts, both sending and receiving. HTC10

I have had a bunch of people tell me that my phone sends the same text 2, 3 and even 4 times. I also receive texts 2-3 times.
HOWEVER, it is only with others that have iPhones.
I am using the Textra app not the stock messaging app. I tried to get help from Textra, but nothing.
Anybody have this as well?

First I'd try to switch back to the stock messaging app. Do the duplicates stop? If so, then you know it's a Textra issue. If they don't stop, it's a carrier issue (some AT&T lines, for some reason, do that for me... I receive their messages two or three times).
