OK, so I know that this issue has been discussed to death in other device forums (Evo 4G, Hero) but I have not seen anyone post anything in the Evo 3D forums yet. I have a small particle in the top left corner of my screen that definitely looks like dust sitting between the glass and LCD. It may have been there from the moment I purchased the phone or it may have happened shortly after. I am going to keep using my phone normally for a few days and see if any more dust builds up there; if not, I can deal with what is already there. If more dust does make its way in, I'm definitely taking the phone back and exchanging it. Has anyone else noticed dust or lint under their screen? I would have really hoped this issue was fixed after the problems it caused with some Hero and Evo 4G models. Thanks!

I had dust under my screen on my OG EVO. It wasn't much but it was enough to be noticeable. I agree with dwayne above, seems to be a common issue with HTC.

I have a speck of dust. It doesn't bother me. It's better than having a dead/stuck pixel.
I agree... not as bad as a stuck or dead pixel. I'm just worried that if more dust starts building up that it could become a much bigger issue in the future.

I too have a dust particle under the screen, just noticed it today.... Don't wanna go through this again a la HTC hero...

I noticed a speck of something too. Black something. It's not a dead pixel I don't think.

Irritating as ****.

Yup, it is super irritating. I don't know if its worth the hassle to go in for an exchange for this, but I'm thinking about it...

Is this something that you would take the phone back over?

Yea it is for me. I work hard at my job and when i shell out my hard earned money I dint expect it to have issues like this. Maybe some don't care and for you but for me I don't expect an issue like this when i have my phone in a hip case and a tpu case and i don't pocket my phone. I have to look at this phone for1-2 years and i don't want to look at dust.

yea i as well have some dust in the lower left hand corner.. can see it patchy with a few specs, it is tiny. i couldnt believe how it got between the glass and the lcd, i really wanted to get a new phone since it was before the 30 days, but now its too late. Im not gonna let it bother me, but if it gets worse, ill definitely smash it.

I have a few under my screen and a stuck pixel. I can't even see the dust and the stick pixels doesn't bother me at all. I'll wait until something actually happens until I give up this phone.

I called Sprint about this matter and they're sending me to a service center, hopefully they can handle this.

Out of curiosity, do you have a case on your phone? Do you think a case would protect against getting dust under the screen?

I didn't have any case on my phone for 3 days and didn't notice any dust under the screen. Then I put on the Otterbox Commuter case which includes a screen protector. Unfortunately, I didn't do a great job putting the screen protector on, and I definitely got a few specs of dust under the screen protector. Unfortunately that means that it's probably impossible for me to tell if I ever get dust under the screen. Thoughts?

I went to the service center and they told me they didn't have the tools to open up the 3d screen, so I called Sprint and apparently no service centers in my area have the tools to do this. So I'm on the phone with them and they keep telling me to go to a service center, WTF?!?!?!
