DVD Movie to Tablet

I have a DVD movie and I have a Samsung 10.1 Tablet. Is there a step by step process on how I get that movie to the tablet? I don't know where to start. Thanks.

I'm not sure whether it easy but here is the way i do it.. I have a Mac so how you do the first part on a PC you'll need to find a solution.

1. Rip the movie with Handbrake to your preferred resolution
2. Download a App from the market called Software Data Cable
3. Download Filezilla

The app gives you all the info needed to connect over wi-fi and once its set up transfer any file to any directory.. Its sweet

I downloaded MoboPlayer and that seems to work well for viewing videos.

Nice I was wondering how to do this. What's the best resolution to rip the movies to play on the tab?

I have to play with a perfect Res myself.. Start high and work back is my suggestion. I just got my Tab, I'll try it and let you know.

All mine are made for phones, nevertheless they still look great!

As far as the resolution to use, remember that a DVD is at 720 x 480. If you rip it at anything higher than that you aren't really gaining anything.

On the other hand, if you are ripping from a blu-ray (1920 x 1080), then you can reduce it to the native 1280 x 800 resolution of the SGT?
