DX RSD/SBF Issues

I have been trying to sbf my DX and have had no luck. After hours of attempts I finally got RSD to find the phone and start. It hung on the M logo for about an hour with the instruction 'please manually restart phone'. I finally pulled the plug and tried the restart... nothing. RSD said it was 100% and I found a well viewed tutorial that said unplugging was safe??? Finally I tried a new sbf with RSD and now I get the following:

Bootloader
30.04
Err: A5, 70, 39, 00, 27

Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB

RSD says PASS, but every time I try and boot up I am right back to this screen, USB'd or not.

Anyone out there have any ideas? TYIA

I cant get into anything but that screen... I am going to try again.

Stock recovery (holding Home + Power) takes me into the bootloader, just takes a few seconds longer. Screen hangs on M for a few extra seconds then flashes blank, quick tap on power brings up bootloader, everything else does nothing.

And you're making sure to hold the home key down after letting go of the power button and until a triangle (hopefully) pops up?

Battery pull?

So far -
Holding Power + Home until M, then just Home
Holding Power + Home continuously, bootloader pops up
Same with Power + Menu

Still getting Err: A5, 70, 39, 00, 27

Trying battery pulls in between each

Let me tackle this in two parts:

First, yes I tried the same sbf twice and a second one once and I am downloaded a third.

You have to be f-ing s-ing me, the site I was on said that I had to try one of two, for bootloader 30.04, both system only... time to try a full one.

THANK YOU! I really appreciate it.

Yeah, if you've only been using a system-only SBF, that's probably your problem. You need a full SBF.

Good luck.

Ok, so I used the full SBF and my red M has been replaced by the original white M, but I am bootlooping now. I now have the message Please manually power up this phone. - Executed: 100% - In process... and it is still bootlooping...

Any new ideas? Your last suggestion got me further.

Should I battery pull or disconnect the USB? Its been at 100% for about 5 minutes now, although it says in process still.

I couldnt deal with the bootloop any more. I disconnected the usb and pulled the battery. I tried to boot up, but got a bootloop again. I was able to get into recovery. I am trying a data wipe... fingers crossed.

UP AND RUNNING! Thanks again.
