Love this app! In case anyone's interested, if you can get your hands on ver. 1.5 it works great. I stopped updating it after that because they added features I didn't want but feel free to see if more recent versions work

You can cross any battery/performance issues off the list of concerns, there are none like some have mentioned on other devices.

Good to hear but in theory it should use more battery life since it's enabling the whole screen to light up. Motorola's Active Notifications activate only a portion of the screen on the Droid Maxx/Ultra/MotoX and the X8 processor helps the device run in a low power state. Keep everyone updated though it'll be interesting to hear.

I've been using this since i checked out the X in Best Buy. Not quite as nice as the X's native app but a very nice substitute. Using it on my One

That's the theory but it's often parroted without substance. Not a dig at you personally, but the reason I mentioned battery in the first place is due to the Moto X owners who get all sore about the existence of this app, and they love to try the battery claim.

This is the second device I've used it on now, and it doesn't even blip on the radar for battery.

I see no difference in battery life either

If it's not using any extra battery than that's awesome. Keep us posted if you notice an issue but enjoy the app. :)

It does use battery. But if you have your notification to go away after 15 seconds, or 30 seconds, it's not going to kill your battery. Also, if you set breathing to "off", it's not going to come up multiple times.
