E-mail auto refresh

When I first got my G2 and set up my work e-mail, it updated every 15 minutes and I never had to refresh it. Now the only way I can receive e-mail is by doing a manual refresh. How do I get it back to auto update?

Is the email account still set to sync every 15 minutes?

Go to Settings>Data Usage​, select Email, and make sure it isn't set to Restrict Background Data.

Well, that function was turned off as it should be, but it did put me in the right place. Auto sync data was turned off. Once I turned that on, my e-mail update was once again set to every 15 minutes. Thanks for the assist.
