Early adopters of Google Voice Hangouts integration... Happy?

Hi all... did a search and what I'm looking for re the GV & H integration is simple:
1. after the roll out and all the implementation, are you happy with the 'new' GV voicemail system in Hangouts?
2. Can you still access the GV website and save/manipulate the new voicemail?

So I'm replying to my own post and queries!
Finally decided to pull the trigger and integrate the apps and let the dust settle where it may...
All in all smooth sailing.
Set up and settings have to be looked over twice... though all works.
Keep the GV app as it serves as a holder of old VM and texts if you saved them.
Finally my system is doing double duty putting VM's in both Hangouts AND GV! Which is good since they don't play in Hangouts! I get this when I try to listen: 'unable to load. please try again.' Thoughts?

I can't play voicemails in Hangouts either. It is frustrating...i had to reinstall Voice app. Hope they fix it soon

Playing voicemails is a PITA.

Both Hangouts and Voice via the Hangouts Dialer appears to be working well for both my wife and I, on both handsets and tablets, but Voice has been erratic with a coworker using an iPhone and we haven't gotten Hangouts to work for him at all. (Probably because he hasn't a Google+ account?)

Hey, not so sure that anyone needs a Google+ account attached to their Hangouts / Gmail account to use this service. I don't.... though using Chrome browser on OS X, to use the stand alone feature, one definitely needs a Google+ account connected to Hangouts.... Rubbish!
I will be frustrated with Google when the time comes and they do dismantle GV's app and website, if to be able to save or manipulate (like the Google Voice website does) voicemail, i have to have Google+!

Well thanks for the replies, it is frustrating to know that they haven't got all the bugs out just yet. And by the same token, I'm glad I'm not alone!

Well for all you hang out users I am sure you have found out that today you can now listen to your voicemail in the hangouts app! Yay! Must have been a switch that gugl flipped because I have two Google accounts one Google Plus account and it looks like the only solution was to add another Google+ account to the account that had my original Google Voice. Didn't and I'm so pleased I didn't as today I can now listen to voicemails with and hang out. I guess it really is adios to my Google Voice app now! ;-)
