I didn't think about it being a holiday. But the tracking says 2/20, so I'm guessing they do.Does FedEx deliver on holidays?

Yeah, that's what I thought and specifically asked the Verizon rep for one made there. Low and behold we open the box and it's the but not as bad as one from Korea.
My understanding is that if your unit is from Vietnam, you should be good. The ones with the defect are from other countries.![]()
Not true. Mine is from Vietnam and has it.

I imagine it has more to do with the panels and where they came from or the batches involved than the location where it's all assembled.
Often even though these are all Samsung panels, they could be manufactured from multiple companies they can send to all locations putting them together depending on need.
Sincerely doubt that. This is an assembly issue
It isn’t the display itself, it’s how the display was assembled into the rest of the phone. That’s why some have it and some don’t, and some aren’t as bad. If it was an issue with the actual display every one would have it.But the displays are manufactured probably by Samsung Display maybe in India. And from the description of the defect it may be when the panel was being assembled at the display factory and not when the panels are delivered to the various factories where the entire phone is put together.
