Earphone volume is low what is the best way to get louder sound?

i have the bose earphones they are great i use them in my iphone 5 and the sound is loud and great. i put them in my moto X the sound is lower and not as clear any one have these issues and what did you do to fix it.

Have the same issue, but often at random. Dislike, cuz i love listening to music on my phone.

Also, check that your music sound settings turn off all the equalizer stuff, my sound was super low before i turned that off.
