My first instinct is to say it's fake. How does one uncover these special icons?

Go into the settings, about phone, and then tap on the Android version number until it pops up. Jellybean had an easter egg too. There was a bunch of floating jellybeans on the screen that you could flick around. Google puts these kinds of easter eggs in Android just for fun.

Yes I know that, but I've never seen the key lime pie, marshmallow, or layer cake icons.

Well we are at the letter K right now, so maybe those two are drop hints at what might be to come.

Ok I screwed around with mine for a half an hour and none of those symbols showed up. Are you running the S5 and found it or did they show up on the internet? (Reason being is if it's real I could see them putting it into the Google devices for shytes and giggles.)

I'm sticking with my original position for now. :P

Just done a bit of playing around and got these icons

The first picture shows the marshmallow and the pie in the top left hand corner
The second photo shows a weird blue face in the bottom left.
I think these pieces are quite rare as they take a while to show up
The second picture showa

All I get is a revolving K symbol which when turned upside down shows a red kitkat logo.
No new icons. Are those icons usable on homescreen?

Hold down the rotating k then hold down the kit kat logo and you'll get this. It Doesnt really have a function its just a bit of fun.

Looks more like a flan than a marshmallow to me.

I think the square dessert the OP was talking about was the one that looked like a square piece of cake.

Layer cake. But I've played with that screen in Kit Kat on my Nexus 4 many times and I haven't ever seen any of the four icons people have pointed out in this thread.

I think the item previously identified as a marshmallow could also be a tall (layer) cake that's iced. Hard to see really.

I hope they stick with the candy co-branding. Bring on Lemonheads or Life Savers!

I think the square one looks like one of those damn Zebra cakes. But we all know that wouldn't work with the lettering :) although I could see Marshmallow or Moon Pie in the future.
