EBay app keeps crashing using Samsung S9+

[Android Central Question]

Has anyone experienced ebay crashing while looking at saved searches? It happens to me everytime I open the app. I receive a message saying app has stopped, report or re open app? If i then re-open, it runs ok.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select eBay, then Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data.

Yes! I've just been restarting it and living with the problem and hoping they fix it soon.

uninsall the app and reinstall. my eBay app works fine 100% and I use it several times a day.

I have deleted ebay app and reinstalled and it still crashes. I am wondering if it has any connection to Google as the message received as it crashes asks if I wish to reopen the app or send eedback to Google?

Did you already try clearing the app's cache and data, as I suggested above? If there's some corrupt data, it might get reloaded or synced back after you uninstall and reinstall the app.
