EC05 and 3G speed

I upgraded yesterday OTA to EC05. I can barely browse the web or enter the market because my 3 G speeds are so slow and keep timing out. Just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a level 2 tech who stated that they are having huge problems on their end and the engineers are working to fix the speed issues with 3G. Anyone else having the same problem?

3G Speeds on EC05 in San Antonio: Download 364kbps / Upload 66kbps
4G Speeds on ECo5 in San Antonio: Download 6190kbps / Upload 1152kbps

Go over to XDA developers and do a search for D700. They have some good cooked up ROMS over there.

Back to the speed issue, i am not sure its a build issue, seems lots of people are complaining, they all seem to have different builds, different PRLs and very little in common other then slow 3G speeds.
Sometimes a reboot fixes it and sometimes it goes away after a while.

Sprint has been having 3g, 4g, connection and speed issues in many areas across the country for the last week. I would find out if your area was one of them before blaming it on this update or your phone.
