Just rolled back to dl09 and did the OTA and the new baseband is ED03... Signal not necessarily better. We'll see.

Can the stock rom do a screen shot?

Signal is still poop. I'm not getting the occasional 85kbs that I was seeing sometimes on commrom 1.3/ ed01 but it is still choppy and max 400kbs down, ave 250kbs the few times I've tried it. My old xv6900 that I activated to switch ESNs gets much better 3g. I haven't tried switch them back and forth since ed03 came down.
hardware i500.04
model sch-i500
firmware 2.2.1
baseband S:i500.04 V.ED03
build sch-i500.ed03

Really. It was in the last hour or that It came down. Is there a way to do a screenshot?

You need to root or use the ddms tool from android sdk...on the leaked version of froyo it was back button and power, but they did away with that

I am currently fully stock and tried to check now for system updates, got nothing. Has anyone searched online to see if they infact released an update?

If it is out wouldnt make sense because the code indicates it was released two days after ED01

Well here's what I see on the opensource site...

Classification Model Version Source Code Announcement
Mobile Phone SCH-I500 REL
SCH-I500 VZW SCH-I500_OpenSource.zip

Mobile Phone SCH-I500 US STA
SCH-I500 USC SCH-I500_USCC_OpenSource.zip

Mobile Phone SCH-I500 US STA
SCH-I500 USC SCH-I500_USCC_Opensource_Update1(froyo).zip

Mobile Phone SCH-I500 VZW ED01 SCH-I500_VZW_Froyo.zip

Mobile Phone SCH-I500 VZW DL09 SCH-I500_OpenSource_Kernel_Updates.zip

I see the ED01 and DL09, ignore the USCC ones, those are us cellular, then there's an unlabled vzw one.. not sure what that one is.

Maybe tommorow you will allow me to screen share with you and i will take the screen shots and do a system dump to see what this anomaly is

Yeah, didn't know what it was supposed to be anyway.

OK, so you guys goaded me into hauling out the dslr and taking pics... Will upload to photobucket as soon as I reset the PWD.... Unless someone (droidxcon?) PM's me an email address, to send them to...

what does this entail? I'd rather set it up now for you and let you play with it overnight.
