Edge Night Clock

Just a quick question but when your night clock is on is your screen completely black/dark?

Mine isn't completely dark as when it comes on there seems to be a tiny amount of light coming from the screen.

Forgot to add that when u do the genie rub on the edge that whole screen then goes dark and the edge text becomes clear and white.

One of the guys on our team has the S6 Edge and said his does this as well. I believe it is something in the software they will have to fix.

Yea whole screen lights up a bit. Annoying in total darkness. Just turned it off for now.

I don't know if you guys are with AT&T but in the software update thread I mentioned that the software update that was pushed out, it fixed the problem where the screen would have a grayish glow when the night clock was turned on. Mine is fixed and completely black now.

Good to know! I'm on T-Mobile and haven't been able to use the Night Clock for almost 2 months now because of the entire screen being lit up. It definitely defeated the purpose of that clock for me!

Now come on T-Mobile and push out the same update AT&T did!!!

That's good to know...I'm looking forward to that. Love the phone, but the way-too-bright Night Clock has been a big disappointment. Love the idea of the feature, but its just too bright as-is in a dark bedroom.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been using the clear view case for quite some time but I fancied a change and thought I was going crazy. I'm on Vodafone in the UK so will hopeful get the update soon.

there was an update a few days ago that fixed this issue for me + everyone else on the xda forums.

so id try manually checking for an update
