One UI 7 will not support Edge Panel downloads from Galaxy Store

This is disappointing, to say the least. I use mine every time I open my phone. How about you all?

I use my Edge Panel throughout the day. However, this development won't affect me since I'm not purchasing panels from the Galaxy Store. In fact, I was not aware that was a thing until today.

It may still affect you. While it will remain on your phone and usable, it implies if you ever uninstall it the app will no longer be available to redownload. I've been using an alternative from the Google Play Store called Everywhere Launcher - it's a ton more customizable, but even it appears to no longer be supported by the developer, where he used to be so responsive. But it's still a great little app

there are native edge panels, and those you can purchase. I use the native panels.

I had a feeling that once they ditched the curved edges that this feature would soon follow. Bummer. Let's hope they put it in good lock.

Here's a notice about it in the Galaxy App Store, the part I've highlighted says that on a new device with One UI 7 or later that you can still download your installed edge panels from your previous device from the galaxy app store
