Edge water test

Even though it's not marketed as 'waterproof' or 'resistant', I've read somewhere where it does well if dropped in water.
Anyone else have anything on that?

That's the video I was referring to. 25 minutes in the water is amazing. Even though I wouldn't intentionally put mine in the water, it could be dropped in accidentally in the hot tub, pool or lake or something. In salt water would be more hazardous, I'd think.
But still, it would seem that Samsung would advertise it if it truly were water resistant to the degree that video showed it to be.

I dropped mine in the toilet... turned off automatically and would not turn back on. Called and got an insurance replacement, wouldnt you know as soon as the replacement came the phone turned on and started working again. I have seen videos and post saying it's resistant but in my experience that is just not true.

I've had issues putting too much liquid on my wet screen protector and the phonewas borked...so no I wouldn't say it's even water resistant.

I left mine in the rain the other day. Was washing my car and placed it on a ledge outside, then I moved car in and forgot i left it out. Went out about 2 hours later to find...... it was fine just grabbed a towel and dried it and no problems.

however i don't plan on doing that again lol

I dropped my G3 in a pool and got the s6 edge on my upgrade...no way I'd test this! lol
