Editing a note made with the pen

I prefer writing out my shopping lists, so the note feature is fantastic. But once I save the note, I can't find a way to go back in and add more to the note I created. As usual, I'm sure there is something very simple I'm missing. But any help is appreciated.

By the way, LOVE the phone. For once I've got the latest and greatest. I'm just trying to get the most out of it.

It depends on where you created the note, but in general you can go to either S-Note (if you downloaded that) or the stock app, Samsung Notes

If you created it in the Screen Off Memo, it goes automatically to Samsung Notes.

For S-Note, just open the note you want to edit, tap the note to show the command bar and select EDIT. In Samsung Notes, just open the note and tap anywhere. It'll start trying to add text if you tap on a blank space, but you can switch to drawing or anything else the app supports from the command bar on top, or go straight to brush if you tap on the drawing area you saved before.
