editing calendar entry

Just got my T-mobile tab. Very nice. One problem I see is that I can't edit exchange calendar entry (that's samsung's calendar). It gives option to delete but thats it. That's just dumb. It looks great, but I need to be able to edit appointments. For now I installed touchdown, but that defeats the purpose to having the nice looking calendar app from Samsung. Am I just missing something?

Editing an Exchange entry works fine for me.

If you tap the date with the entry you wish to edit, that will show the list of events. Tap the event itself. This will display a small box showing details of the event. In the upper right there will be a trash can. At the bottom there will be a "send via" and an "edit" button.

I have a similar problem and this doesn't fix it. I think it cropped up today after some problem developed with synchronization.

Once I fixed it and resynchronized my calendar, a few events were still editable, while others are not. Holding them in non-agenda view produces an "Unable to edit this event" warning. There is no "edit" choice in the menu that comes up after I tap the event; just those described above. Some events edit just fine.

I deleted the calendar data on my droid and tried again. Same result.

The only difference I have here is that my data comes in via Local Sync from my laptop, rather than the exchange. I've tried a lot of different settings with no luck.

Any ideas?
