Editing Google Contacts?

Is it possible to edit Google (gmail) contacts from the tbolt? I used to be able to log in to gmail (desktop version) in dolphin browser. Now it only lets me log in to the html desktop version instead of the full desktop version and you cannot see your contacts in mobile or html gmail. You need the full desktop version.

I should explain I cannot do it in people app because I don't sync with google (long story but it doesn't work well for me).

Using the standard phone browser I was able to select the "Desktop" view from the very bottom of the gmail screen and then I could edit my contacts.

I got the html version which doesn't show contacts. Odd. I got the full version in dolphin but with errors.

Try going to Google.com/contacts
That's how I'm able to edit contacts using my browser.
