I?m glad I didn?t give in to impulse and try and do Target or HHgreg (never heard of them) only to cancel my Amazon order.

Right now my estimated delivery of May 16-26 is starting to look pretty good.

I have the same Amazon date range as you. We'll see what happens. Right now I'm half tempted to just get a Xoom...

Just got an email from HHGregg saying my order is now backordered...

just got the email from target canceling my order and the email from hhgreg saying my tablet is back ordered. I did call HHgreg and the guy told me it was a blanket email to all with orders. Mine still shows a Transformer in the warehouse with my name on it but has not shipped yet. He wasnt 100% sure it would ship but said most people that call had their allocations removed and now show zero. So fingers crossed i could still get mine. If not I may just get an Acer one. Im not good at this waiting and hunting game

I got the same email fuzzy but I called back and the guy emailed the shipping department in Indianapolis and verified that mine is still scheduled to go out this afternoon via UPS.

Calling now... I notice the email was a generic form without any order specific information, so I bet they just sent it to EVERYONE who ordered one, regardless of it was being fulfilled or not. Here's hoping...

Just got off the phone with HHGregg - the CSR I spoke with verfied that the email went out to everyone that ordered the TF, but hasnt already been shipped. So for those of you that ordered and got the backorder email - wait until tomorrow to see if yours actually shipped before cancelling.

I suggest you do just that... in case I happen to be in the queue behind you

In any case, imo based on having and then returning the Xoom after 2 weeks, I would highly suggest anyone dismayed by the Transformer issues look at the Iconia over the Xoom. That is deffinately the tablet I'd get if I just had to get a Honeycomb right now.

I never got the email from Greg. Just the phone call stating it was on backorder...

I just tracked my HH Greg shipment and it shows up in UPS if you track using the 10 digit order number and choose track by reference.
