eek* shut down with no reboot

wow i was on facebook my phone froze and would do nothing for about 2 mins then
shut its self down and would not reboot , no power, nothing.
so i removed the battery and replaced tried to reboot, and again nothing so i decided
to remove the battery for 5 mins and panic about it lol
after replacing the battery and pushing the power button there was still nothing so kept my
finger on the power button for a long time "many seconds" and it started a boot sequence
i have never seen before and the android logo telling me no to touch anything as its downloading
and a huge green arrow pointing to the power button
so i left it for another couple of mins but it was doing nothing so pushed the power button and it
booted up and worked ok

ive also noticed it reboots its self for no reason at all at random times and ive lost the 3 menu buttons
at the bottom of the screen and the only way to get them back was to open the cam from the lock screen

and my power button is becoming temperamental and not turning the screen on from standby

has anyone else had issues like this
