Either a Stock email issue or a security patch issue

I use the stock email app for my S10+, due to security settings from my company that require me to use it. I have 4 other email accounts. I seem to recall there is no way to change the order of the accounts, so if I want my company email as the top, I basically need to "remove" and then "add" the other accounts so the others are junior.

All was fine until the August Security patch which came Monday night. After that, all my email accounts "added" back in in a different order. This morning, I deleted all accounts except my work one (which was at the bottom) and added them back in so they would all be below. One account - even after removing and adding it TWICE, keeps showing up at the top. This has never happened before. Ideas?

The Samsung app? If you open the app, touch the 3 lines upper left, then the gear icon upper right. There you should see all of your accounts, the one at the top is probably marked (default), then 3 dots upper right, the option opens to set the default account. You can also give each account a nickname by touching the account and under account name change that value.

If you are not talking about the Samsung Email account name the app. Perhaps they are being added in alpha numeric order? Most of the apps I've used you can add nicknames to the accounts. So if yours is using alpha numeric this could cause the order to change.

Reply with the app you're using for better help.
