EL30 call answer. Can we get the original back?

What is up with these crazy changes in EL30? The answer functions with EI22 and EC05 were real easy to figure out, swipe from the middle to whatever you wanted to do.

The first call I got after updating to EL30 I was thinking "What do I do? Drag from the green spot to the red spot where the triangles are pointing or what???"

The only problem with the previous setup is with the keyboard closed you swiped to the top of the phone to answer but with the keyboard open you swiped to the *bottom end* of the phone, and if you tried to simultaneously answer and close the keyboard it would swap ends and you'd ignore the call instead of answering.

The only fix it needed was simply fixing it to *always answer at the same end of the phone*.

Haven't got a call on EL30 with the keyboard open, so I dunno if the answer screen flip-flops.

Good thing these people don't engineer cars, they'd reverse the transmission's shift pattern for right and left turns.

Yeah, I agree, nothing wrong with EL30. The call screen button slides to the right to answer, instead of up. No big deal. GPS does not time out after 10 minutes like it used to.....

The call answer screen is a lot more like AOSP builds. This slight change in Touchwiz may be a precursor to the builds that go on top of ICS when it comes out (referring to the Galaxy S II). Another difference I noticed in the answer screen is that as soon as you choose a reject message, it's sent. No more just pasting it into the messaging app and waiting for you to hit send. A HUGE improvement on that front. And honestly, dragging the persons picture took me longer to figure out when I got the epic, than sliding the bar to the right when I had my Intercept...

It was truly embarrassing when I got my epic and received my first call. I had no freaking idea how to answer it. I tapped the picture and taped the green box. WTF?!?! First 3 calls went to voicemail until my wife showed me how to do it. MY WIFE!!!

same thing happened with my alarm... i couldn't figure it out and my roommate got pissed lol. Figured it out after a minute or two tho

I use the app Alarm Clock Plus for my alarm. I like it because I have it linked to my home screen clock. So all I have to do is tap on the hours and the alarm clock comes up. Then it has 4 customizable buttons. Even with the EL30 update, the alarm clock stayed the same.
