Eligible for upgrade..I currently have HTC Droid Incredible

Hello everyone... I am eligible for an upgrade ( new every 2) with Verizon.

I currently have the HTC Droid Incredible.

I am happy with the phone. I don't want to spend to much time researching the 'next best' phone. So, I am asking the experts out there....what would be a good phone upgrade on the Verizon network?

I like the HTC Droid Incredible (with Sense) and am really pretty happy with my current phone, but is there something out there that is even better ??

U should know u really need to research. If you like HTC try the rezound. Droid four is out soon nexus is out bunch of options. All these phones do the dame thing don't buy into the fan boy stuff.

Lots of options.

1. Rezound. Highest end and newest HTC on verizon.

2. Incredible 2. Much cheaper than rezound but not a huge step up.

3. Root your phone and run an ice cream sandwich rom. If you don't like.... get new phone. If like. Saved some money.

I vote for the Rezound. I'm not due for an upgrade but if I was that's the one I would get. A trip to the Verizon store to test out the phones and see how they feel in your hand is a good idea. Good luck!

I would get either the GNex if you have to have ICS now and want to root/flash custom ROMs or the Razr Maxx if you value a long battery life above all else.

If neither of those 2 appeal to you, then wait to see what HTC will showcase at the MWC, which starts on the 27th.

Yep - if you really like Sense, check out the Rezound.

The Nexus should also be on your short list as should the Razor MAXX.

Take the time to go to a store with live demos and spend a few hours playing with each. You'll pretty quickly zero in on which phone is right for you.

I am going to be in the same boat here shortly. I got my DInc as a good deal at the Verizion store when my wife and I went to get new phones. They were running a deal of buy a DInc and get any other phone free. So I got the DInc that I wanted and my wife got a Samsung Facinate (which she loves and would recomend to anyone).

This was my first HTC phone and I liked sence (came from a 1st gen Blackberry Storm), but I have found that I like some of the other launchers better. I bragged a lot about the DInc till the GB update, now I cant wait to take the time to root (hopefully today) as well as trade up. Not sure I will go for another HTC phone just due to the issues with the GB update, and not just getting it late but all of the issued that it caused.

I'm also eligible for an upgrade but I'm not sure I want to go with HTC. With my present phone, every time I use an app, I get the low memory warning then I have to clear out caches. It's driving me nuts.

Any other recommendations other than HTC phones?

Just wait.....on Sunday you can glimpse the future. The Dinc was a "Game Changer".....and most original Dinc owners are at the end of their two year contracts. If you were patient....and sidestepped the "good but not great" Galaxy Nexus....and the capable ....but soon to be Old School Rezound....then you will see the new "NextGen" phones from several Vendors. These phones will be dual and quad core phones optimized for ICS and will likely be available in a couple more months...April-June. And if you still like the Rezound....it's about to get a lot cheaper.

Mobile World Congress starts on Sunday......there you'll see what's really new in the Mobile World....though Samsung is holding back the Galaxy III until a later date. HTC looks to regain momentum with some new and interesting designs....so, at least wait one more week to see the possibilities. Will we see the Dinc III ? , Been waiting for this show for a bit now....D

I'm loving the looks of the Rezound right now, but my DInc is still going like a trooper and I just bought a new extended battery for it. Guess it's going to be my phone for a while.
