I am eligible for my upgrade next month. How does everyone like the S3? For the next couple months I will need to use it as my home wifi-tether as well, till the local Fiberoptic goes in(I live in the sticks), so what are the chances of convincing Verizon not to put me on the family-share, I have unlimited now and use approx 30 gb's a month.

Regardless of what phone you get, you won't be able to upgrade (at the subsidized price) without changing to a tiered plan, unless you pay full retail for the phone.

Yep...wait until your fo is laid, then upgrade....or pay cash for a new phone.
