Email after the DL09 update

Coming from Blackberry, I was disappointed in how long it took to receive receive email from accounts other than gmail or exchange. After yesterday's update, my hotmail accounts started coming in on schedule. Are others experiencing the same?

never had a problem, course i havent been stock since the 3rd day i had the phone.

I was getting them last night, but woke up this morning and didnt get any that came in overnight. WTF? Is there a setting that I need to change?

The stock email app is notorious for being slow. I have not done any testing since DL09 but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't make a difference. I just recommend using a 3rd party email app like K9 mail. It also has a few more features (like being able to copy text) that give it even more of an edge than just pulling mail from servers on schedule.
