Email apps is slooooow

Is it just me, or is the email app really, really slow? Takes forever to update email from Yahoo and Exchange, in terms of both listing and then loading messages.

I get a few lags here and there, but otherwise the thing performs pretty well for a $250. Email, however, is the one app that just crawls...

If nobody else is having this issue, then maybe I need to clear something out. ???

Had same issue with 7plus, did a factory reset and was fine after that. Pp.
