email connection

[AC Question]

I am trying to hook up a Samsung 3 to aol mail and it won't sync. What am I doing wrong - how do I know if its a pop3 acct or a IMA acct? Or if I should be using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync? Nothing is working.
