Email does not check when it should.

I've been having a problem where my email, stock, does not check every half hour like I have it set. Usually it'll go hours or even all day.
Anyone have an idea on how to fix it?

Have you tried to reinstall the app? Also go to the app in the app manager and clear out all of its cache and if that fails clear the data!

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > App name (In my case Gmail)

Then re-setup your accounts if you need too. Hard reset your phone if all else fails!
