So trying to set up my corporate exchange email and it is not working. I just got the Nexus 5 yesterday and it won't load for some reason. I did some research and found out that there was an issue in the past. Curious if anyone else has any issues with the exchange for email and calendar. Running 4.4.2. T-Mobile set up. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't get my corporate Exchange email to work either and had to get a 3rd party app - TouchDown for Smart Phones

No problems here.

Can you describe the problem you are having in more detail?

I have tried to sign up for Exchange with my corporate email and it says that it can not connect to the server. Is there a solution yet for the problem?

I had an issue with my nexus and I just had to get the server info and all that and set up my exchange manually otherwise it would give me the exact same error message you are getting now.

So the server name, port number, etc., is all different? My IT guy at work is kind of an ***** and said he can't find that info. Is there a way I can pull that information out of my Outlook app on my computer?

In a typically corporate deployment, mobile active sync server is a totally different server than your desktop outlook. So, you must get the information from your IT guy. In a lot companies, you also need special permission setup by IT to allow you to sync emails to phone.

Your mileage will vary, but in my case it is setup as follows:

Username: domainname\username (only the part before the @ symbol)
Server: mail.mycompany.com
Port: 443
Security type: SSL/TLS

We operate Exchange Server 2010 with OWA (Outlook Web Access) enabled.

Thanks...I will try this and let you know what the results are. Thanks again!

Hmm yea I'd think IT would be able to get that for you.

As far as my exchange email went my username and password was just my email and the password the only thing that differed from what the exchange email wanted to put in was the server that was different then the default one it was trying to use. So it may just end up being the server but it may vary depending on how your company set it up.

On Jelly Bean, I didn't need to put a "/" in front of my username. On Kit Kat, I need it. That's the only change that I noticed. Good luck getting it going.

Have Motorola Droid Turbo, which will not connect to my companies exchange email server.
We have tried all the alternative port setting other than 443,..including 445,80,25 none of which work.
My last corporate email ..the port had to be set to "0" to work..but this one does not give you that option.
HELP:(

I had similar issue when I got my nexus 5 unboxed. At that time, I have not installed many apps on it and it was perfectly clean so I have executed an additional factory reset and the things got back to normal. Well, I am sure there are rather easier solutions already present.
