I do have different questions from what has been posted. I have tried stock email client, k-9, seven, and mail droid. here they go:

1. IMAP sync: when i use stock email client on Epic, and respond to a message, it doesn't show that I replied to the message on my laptop. On my Palm Pre it did show this and on K-9 it does show this. can anyone help?

2. larger attachments: on stock email client I tried sending more than 3 pics (that I took on my Epic) and it says "too large of a file" and limits it to 3 pictures max (1.2MB each). I can send multiple pics on K-9 but must select 1 picture at a time (which is quite annoying but at least I can do it). Is there a way to send more than 3 pics on the stock email app or choose more than 1 at a time on K-9?

3. IMAP Push: is there IMAP push on stock email app? i assume not.

4. Is there another better alternative to email than all that I've tried?

This is the largest issue for me from coming from Palm Pre (I already gave into bad notification system).

The built-in email client seems to be pretty much worthless to me, I'm not sure why people aren't more upset with it. It doesn't poll IMAP properly, it doesn't sync properly, it doesn't delete properly, it doesn't notify properly, and it doesn't support push. I've been using K9 and it seems to do most things correctly, but I can't help with the attachment issue, haven't tried it.

Yeah its really bugging me. I came from a palm pre and was able to send over 15mb attachments with no problem. I cant get over 5mb for some reason. I love the Epic..but the email is just driving me crazy.

anyone knows of an email client that will let us send larger files (15mb for example)? thanks

Completely worthless to me... I don't use the stock email, I use the Gmail app as well as a Yahoo mail app... here's to hoping that the stock Epic email gets fixed in updates...

Will the Gmail app let you send larger media files? I tried K-9 and Maildroid but I get a lot of lag and the files never actually send from the outbox.
