I have had my S3 (w/o LTE) for a couple weeks. Nicer than I expected. Everything but email is working fine. I can`t locate an email icon on the watch or in the Gear S3 app on my phone. The phone is a Motorola Z Force Droid with Android 8.0.0. So, it's not a sync'ing issue as I can't find the email app on the watch. Is this (watch email app) something that has to be downloaded or activated some how? Thanks for any help.
Update: Spoke to TWO people at Samsung support. By their knowledge of the S3, I'm assuming they're level 1 at least with watches. Neither had answers about the Gear email app. I talked to both for quite a while, hoping to either jog memories or have them walk me through some procedure to ensure I had all the base apps on the phone Gear app & on the watch. Neither had a clue about when or how the email app appears on the watch or to in the Gear app listing on the phone. Doesn't say much about their watch support. This is basic.
