Email Icon On Home Screen

The Email Icon On the Home Screen of my Asus Zenphone is showing a 2, but when I check my email, there are no emails in there, and I checked Inbox, Deleted, Sent and I Refreshed. When I get one new email the icon shows a 3.

that didn't help at all Morty, anyone have any other ideas I could try??

does restarting mean hold the power button in until the screen goes black?

Not sure what email program you have but on yahoo if you press the 3 bars for setting and check ``unread`` this will show if you have several emails that might be old dates that are unread.

Darn I don't see a Unread in Settings. How do I see what my email program is called? All I see is Email, with no description.

The only emails I can see are the deleted ones.

I don`t use the email app that came with the phone so can`t help you. Maybe if you load your emails on a laptop or PC whatever mail program you use will let you request unread mail.

OK, it's called Asus Email. Is there any support for this, if so where do I go for it??
