Email limits?

Quick question for those with this phone. ( I don't have it.....someone I know does and has this issue) Without rooting, is there a way to increase the number of emails kept on this phone? I had the fascinate for a couple years and seem to remember it would only allow 100 before deleting. He uses the phone for work emails and gets a couple hundred every few days so he is wanting to keep them longer than just a couple days. Its not a Corporate Exchange account.......Its a POP3 account.

I had this very problem, after 100 emails they would be deleted on the stock email program. Tell your friend to get "Aquamail" he will thank me. I am a heavy email user and this is by far the best.
