Not sure if this is a Kit Kat issue or something else.
Using a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 10.1 (with Kit Kat). When I look at email (Yahoo! or gmail) through the native email app (combined view, or account specific), the app does not mark messages as having been read, unless I read them on this tablet. If I had previously read the messages from my desktop (or phone), they still appear as New, even after explicitly syncing.
My phone (Jelly Bean, I believe) does not exhibit this behavior (nor does the iPad, FWIW).
Does anyone else see this behavior? Is it a setting that I have wrong, somewhere? I've looked all over for some email app setting, but nothing pops out.
Thanks,
