Email Notifications For Junk? Just Started.

For some reason I keep getting email notifications for my Outlook account regarding the junk folder. It just started, no settings have been changed, the account has been set up since I got the phone 6 months ago. Any ideas how it could have got this way? Half the time I open the email it opens to the junk folder. Don't have any idea what happened. I have the notification set to vibrate if that matters.

Just guessing here:

Open your email, and at the top, tap where it says "Inbox (###)" and your account name.

Tap "Show all folders"

Tap "Junk E-mail"

Tap the menu button, and choose "Sync options"

Make sure both Peak schedule and Off-peak schedule are set to Manual.

Thanks, I already checked that one and the settings haven't changed there, still manual. Funny, when I go into system settings Smart Stay seems to uncheck itself a lot, but that is a different issue. I turn off my phone every night so it is rebooted daily and it still pulls in Junk at start up.

I am having the same issue. Junk folder settings are set to manual sync. This just started in the last few days.
