Email notifications

I had my S4 all set with some custom notification tones for certain accounts. A couple days ago I stopped hearing tones when an emails come in, although I still get the pop-up in the notification bar. Now when I go into the native email app, and choose "select ringtone" under any of my email accounts, the phone will just hang for a short period, and then give me a message stating "Unfortunately, Email has stopped.

Any ideas?
