Email notifications

Whenever I get an email notification it will say I have one or two unread messages. But when I open email I will often have much more than that. It never says more than one or two. Is this normal?

Do you have priority mail setup? How about notify you once of email? Check these out in your settings.

I don't even see a "priority" option.

When you go into settings, there is an option for a priority mailbox. Unchecked the box.

Nope. Not there.

Nope. Just the stock email app.
This morning, for instance. Said I had 2 unread emails...but there were ten emails waiting when I opened it. More of an annoyance than a real problem.
