Email password

[Android Central Question]

I have Galaxy A6 model. I use Samsung email app for one of my gmails accounts. Unfortunately I forgot password for that account. I tried to recover password using Gmail "Forgot password" for my case it useless. In "samsung email" it works I can send and receive emails. But I can't login through browser.
Is there any possibility to see password in "Samsung email" app?

Why are you unable to use the Google password recovery option?

I'm curious also why the password recovery didn't work, many years of using Gmail it has always worked

Welcome to Android Central! I'm confused as to which account the OP is referring to. What does "I use Samsung email app for one of my gmails accounts" mean? Do you mean that you associated your email account from your Samsung account with your Google account? And you forgot the password for that Samsung account?
