email photos saving issue... Help!!

Everything has been great... Until today... I get an email with a photo. Simple jpg.

The image will open, but if I click "Save" I get the dreaded Triangle of death telling me the application Email has stopped unexpectedly.

If I open the attachment and hold my finger on the screen, additional menus will flash for a fractions of a second, but will NOT allow me to access them...

If I hit the menu button when viewing the picture, I feel tha tthe button is being pushed, but NOTHING happens...

What gives???

If I get an MMS with an image, and I view it full screen same thing happens... BUT in the thread if I hold my finger on the thumbnail I get the message menu I was looking for .

Why can I not save an attachment if I can see it?

Have you tried power cycling?

How about removing the email account and re-adding?

Power cycle, yes...

Delete/reinstall account, no... Does that really help?

I feel like it is a 2.1 bug...

ok, so battery pull did nothing, and email account delete did nothing...

ifI try and pull the menu up, email crashes... If i open the picture, and click/hold on it, the screen blinks momentarily, then just picture...

HELP!!!!!!!!
