Email question

Is there a setting that will allow me to forward an email as quoted text, rather than a .eml attachment?

I never had this problem on my G2.

I use k-9 email so I don't have a problem with that, not sure how to do it on stock.

Will that still sync your contacts and your calendar?

No it doesn't sync your contacts or calendars but you can leave that you google sync. Just go into the account settings on the phone and stop google from syncing your Gmail. Then set up K-9 auto set it to auto sync as frequently as you like.
