Email recent messages seems to reset and redownload messages repeatedly

I just my Epic 3 days ago. It came rooted with Midnight 3 which I have upgraded to v5. I have the recent email messages set to 200 in multiple email accounts but they seem to keep deleting at some point all but the 25 default and then redownload the messages at sync when I open the mailbox. Does not delete at every instance of closing the client so I have not nailed down the freqency or trigger but was curious if others have seen this behavior? I have one account set to not sync and I have yet to see this account drop and redownload messages.
